About us

Based in the beautiful village of Silsoe, we’ve been the expert painters and decorators of homes and businesses in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire since 2004.

Our specialities are wallpaper installation, heritage repairs for listed buildings, limewash and sustainable timber restoration.

We bring decades of experience, whilst continually keeping abreast of new methods and products.

We're incredibly proud of the reputation we've built up, with the majority of our projects come from repeat business and referrals.

Our mission is to make decorating projects easy for you, with as little disruption to your surroundings as possible.

Many thanks for the work you completed - you've made an excellent job!

Why Us

Our priority is to make the experience stress free for you.

For you to feel excitement as your new space unfolds.

This isn’t just decorating – this is about creating a space that makes you feel a certain way.

We'll treat your project like our own, cleaning along the way, and using our dustless sanders where possible.

We're a friendly, professional team, that are fully insured and DBS checked.

We promise to communicate with you throughout and are there to reassure you of any concerns you may have.

The workmanship was excellent, with attention to detail and overall finish. They took pride in their work and nothing was a bother.

CHRISTINE WORRELL

As an Interior Designer I was looking for a quality job. I was very pleased with the work and especially the wallpaper hanging as I cannot see any joins! They were reliable, trustworthy and a pleasure to have around. I was perfectly happy to have them in the house whilst I was at work.

HEATHER, LIDLINGTON

"They were experienced and professional and, most importantly for me, friendly, likeable and honest. I had no hesitation in leaving a key for them to work in the house when I wasn’t there."

NIKKI, AMPTHILL

Meet some of the team

Nick

Nick, our founder, has been a professional decorator for over 25 years, achieving his City and Guilds qualifications whilst being an apprentice for a local reputable building company.

He’s amassed an incredible skillset with in depth product knowledge, gained from working on hundreds of properties including buildings such as Luton Hoo.

Helen

Helen is our co-founder and Nick's wife.

A qualified accountant, but with an obsession for interiors, means Helen is always on the ball with developing the business and services we offer.

Being mum to their two young children means she's no time to be on the tools!

However, she loves home DIY and furniture hacks and is usually the one that builds all the flat pack!

Ken

We've lost track of how many years experience Ken has - let's just say a lot!

What Ken doesn't know about decorating, isn't worth knowing!

Perhaps the hardest worker we've known - truely dedicated and passionate about the trade. He'll aways go that extra length for you.

We've helped hundreds of clients create their dream space
